Handwritten inorganic chemistry notes by Louis Boucsein, a Baltimore pharmacist. Boucsein was a German pharmacist who owned a few stores in Baltimore. The notebook was donated to the University of Maryland, Baltimore by Simon Solomon, School of Pharmacy, Class of 1918.
The volume is undated but Boucsein but it appears Boucsein came to the United States sometime after 1869 and died in 1910. If these notes were from coursework they were probably taken sometime in the 1850s.
